Origins of the fire Sol amulet
There is an old tale, some say myth, that a father once bore a set of twins. He was so enamoured by their beauty he arrogantly named them after celestial bodies; Mani for the moon and Sol for the sun.
Mani was contemplative, obedient and calm while Sol was the complete opposite; willful, spirited and passionate.
His children were everything a father could dream of but Odin was not pleased. Odin sent them to the sky as punishment and saw fit that they live up to their namesakes. Mani was to drag the moon behind him through the sky as was Sol with the sun. Not an easy task with the wolves Skoll and Haiti nipping at their heels. Odin has never showed signs of regret for his decision and his attention has been turned as he wears upon the land.
Normally confined to her chariot, Sol finds a way to send her flaming essence to the battlefields. She has never forgive Odin for what he had done to her brother and her.
Her essence fell as a fiery cross, cooling into a now ancient artifact once it hit the cool of the ocean. It is said that whoever possesses this all powerful artifact will be given great power, as Sol, still furiously passionate, will forever be seeking revenge
